Hotori – The Simple Wish for Joy
At the Personality Plant, robots are being built and slowly outfitted with the artificial memories of real people. Suzu is one such robot, being made to replace the young boy a family has lost. By chance, he meets Hitori, a young girl suffering from progressive memory loss. The two children become friends and attempt to define themselves in the light of their changing memories.

I’ve seen this whole anime again this year and this anime is really amazing. It is my favorite drama anime because parts felt very similar to my life experience. The anime is openly dreamlike, and like most dreams it moves uncertainly down a path with many turnings.
The soundtrack of these anime is simple, decieving, full of mischief in its own right. The story is really solid, the pacing is great, and all of the actors give great performances. Hotori – The Simple Wish for Joy stand up to the test of time.
The soundtrack, the atmosphere and the characters. The fact it still holds up so well is a testament to what a work of art it is. I have not found Hotori – The Simple Wish for Joy anime full elsewhere so I uploaded it here, now everyone can see this anime online for free.
