A fallen electrical cable zaps Ploddy the Police Car and grants him special powers, but his newfound energy brings new found responsibilities. Ploddy now has what it takes to stand up to the Badger Brothers – a shady duo plotting to steal and bottle the towns water supply. With the help of his friend, Dottie the Otter, Ploddy must defeat the criminals to save the town and the environment.

Really fantastic anime, my favorite in family genre. This anime, which I free even refuse to compare with the other ones is the masterpiece created by my favorite director. I was so emotionally destroyed that I saw the entire anime three times on the internet almost in one go.
There are some stages in this anime that I will remember them until death. Every single performance is incredible. Not to mention that it has the best music in a anime. Ploddy the Police Car Makes a Splash stand up to the test of time.
