Hamtaro

Hamtaro is a Japanese children’s manga and storybook series created and illustrated by Ritsuko Kawai. The manga is serialized in Shogakukan’s all girl’s magazine Ciao in 1997, focusing on a hamster named Hamtaro who has a variety of adventures with other hamsters, known as “Ham-Hams”. VIZ Media published the manga adaptations and storybooks in English.

An anime adaptation was then produced by TMS Entertainment and aired in TV Tokyo from July 7, 2000 to March 31, 2006.

Hamtaro – amazing TV show from 2002 year. It is my favorite action & adventure TV series because parts felt very similar to my life experience. Hamtaro is a long TV series, with the space and leisure to expand and explore its themes.

No TV series ever has filled me with so much strange energy and gotten me so immersed in it. I did not know anything about this TV show before, I did not even see a trailer, but I enjoyed it very much in the first place. I still remember the first time I watched Hamtaro online. It was simply an amazing experience that I remember to this day.
